STEM summer camp 2025

8 sessions to choose from

FLEXIBLE PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE

Register for as little as two sessions. Each session's tuition includes field trip.


Dates: June 23-August 22, 2025 (CLOSED: JUNE 30- JULY 4, 2025)

STEM SUMMER CAMP 2025

Geologists

Focus: Rocks, minerals, and Earth's layers.

Activities: Explore rock types, make "rock candy," and study erosion with sand.

Field Trip: Schuylkill Environmental Center 


Environmental Engineers

Focus: Pollution and eco-friendly solutions.

Activities: Create water filters, study air quality, and build solar ovens.

Field Trip: Fairmount Water Works


Urban Farmers

Focus: Agriculture in city spaces.

Activities: Plant herbs, build vertical gardens, and learn about composting.

Field Trip: Fox Chase Farm


Petite Botanists

Focus: Plant science and gardening.

Activities: Plant seeds, dissect flowers, and explore plant life cycles.

Field Trip: Bartram Gardens 


Little Physicians

Focus: Health and human anatomy.

Activities: Learn about the human body, use stethoscopes, and bandage practice dolls.

Field Trip: Please Touch Museum


Biologists

Focus: Life science and ecosystems.

Activities: Examine leaves under a microscope, create a terrarium, and study insects in the local area.

Field Trip: Wagner institute of Science 


Mechanical Designers

Focus: Inventing and prototyping.

Activities: Create mini cars, experiment with gears, and design wind-powered vehicles.

Field Trip: Independence Seaport Museum


Junior Culinary Chemists
Focus: The science of cooking and food chemistry.
Activities: Make homemade butter and explore emulsification. Create edible slime while learning about polymers. Conduct taste tests to explore the five basic tastes. Bake bread while investigating yeast and fermentation.

Field Trip: Baking Class


Field trips are weekly, however, days and order of field trips are subject to change!

meals

Organic & healthy fruit and snacks provided for breakfast, afternoon. Lunch must be brought in Monday-Thursday, Pizza provided on Fridays!
