STEM Prep was founded by Renee Harris, an educator, researcher, and STEM advocate with a passion for early childhood learning and equity in education.

With a background in math and science education and a Master’s in Education Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania, Renee created STEM Prep to bridge the gap between traditional learning and real-world STEM experiences. As a PhD student, her research focuses on how early STEM experiences shape children’s thinking, identity, and long-term engagement in STEM, especially for students who have been historically underrepresented.
