STEM TEACHER

Description: Stem Prep Academy seeks a dynamic and passionate STEM teacher to make a huge impact in their students’ lives. The teacher will help to further enhance the school environment in that it celebrates a hands-on learning environment of creativity, innovation, and experimentation. Integrating the diverse disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Using the engineering design process, project & problem-based learning teachers will assist, support, and encourage students as they learn new skills for developing ideas, experiencing success and failure, and making things in a highly collaborative setting.


Hours: (Flexible days & hours) 8:30-11:30 am, 11:30-2:30 pm, 2:30-5: 30pm Monday through Friday 

10:30 am- 2pm one Saturday per month

Summer Camp ( 6 weeks) 8:30 am- 3: 30 pm


Great salary: $25 per hour

Same day pay

Paid breaks

Paid holidays

Must have at least a Bachelor's degree in any stem field w/ experience working with children or a junior in college majoring in any stem field. State Police Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI fingerprints, NSOR verification, Mandated Reporter Training, High School Diploma, Recent Physical, Recent TB test, two non-family references, pediatric first aid & CPR training, health & safety training. If you don't have these items available, we will assist you in obtaining them. 


Willing to obtain stem certification.

co-teacher

Description: Co-teachers work with the teacher to help students succeed in the classroom environment. Some of their responsibilities include but are not limited to classroom management, co teaching lessons, maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom, health, and safety of the school, assisting with snacks, pick up/drop off, and outdoor play. Must love stem & working with children.


Requirements: High School Diploma


State Police Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI fingerprints, NSOR verification, Mandated Reporter Training, High School Diploma, Recent Physical, Recent TB test, two non-family references, pediatric first aid & CPR training, health & safety training. If you don't have these items available, we will assist you in obtaining them. Willing to obtain stem certification.

STEM INTERN

Description: The STEM Internship Program encourages talented science, technology, engineering, math (STEM), education majors to pursue working with our young scholars. It provides hands-on, advanced program implementation and pre-service teaching experience in STEM activities. The internship position allows students to make important contributions to Stem Prep Academy and the community while being potential STEM educators and/or program implementers to work within their field of study and grow

professionally and personally.


Requirements: High School Diploma


MUST BE A CURRENTLY ENROLLED COLLEGE STUDENT MAJORING IN ANY STEM AREA OR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION!


State Police Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI fingerprints, NSOR verification, Mandated Reporter Training, High School Diploma, Recent Physical, Recent TB test, two non-family references, pediatric first aid & CPR training, health & safety training. If you don't have these items available, we will assist you in obtaining them.

Hours: (Flexible: work any schedule while attending college ) 8:30-11:30 am, 11:30-2:30 pm, 2:30-5: 30pm Monday through Friday 

10:30 am- 2pm one Saturday per month

Summer Camp ( 6 weeks) 8:30 am- 3: 30 pm

Pay: $15 per hour
